Getting File Names Without Extensions

Collection of all .a files into lib/ is optional. Doing so makes for better looking directories with nice separation of code and libraries, IMHO. And now I’m trying to use it inside my C program, but I don’t know what to do with the generated .a files. I couldn’t find any information, not even in the GCC manual. If a file extension in Windows is deleted, Windows won’t know how to deal with the file.

I just spoke with a Wahoo Rep and he said Wahoo has stopped supporting the data transfer from Garmin devices to the Wahoo App. From there, I was able to transfer the activity to my Garmin Connect account. This is so much better than using my klunky Windows computer which I avoid turning on as much as possible. Many files — particularly those that contain text — are ideal candidates for compression.
